Skill Review: Heads Up!

Heads Up! is a mind-boggling, interactive skill from the Ellen DeGeneres Show. This trivia skill has been designed to engage the show’s fans with the popular game Heads Up! that Ellen DeGeneres plays with her celebrity guests. The skill follows the same principle as on the show for its followers to have some quick fun. The user gets to choose from the 5 decks of cards with each deck holding 5 questions which can be anything across categories like naming superstars, favorite fictional characters, identifying your much-loved blockbuster movies, and so forth.

The game is all about guessing the word on the card before the timer runs out which is under 90 seconds. The skill provides the clues the user would need to rightly guess the word on the card. But it ain’t that easy as one may think it to be. The user can always ask for more clues and pass, if need be, to move to the next one. So, with a little bit of jog to your memory, you can just about guess the answer to the brain-teasing clues tossed at you if you are all up to it. By not prodding much of taxing brain activity on its users, the voice skill ups the shivery excitement of its fans to let them experience the nail-biting edge. Besides stepping up the gameplay with exciting clues and popular categories the voice skill intuitively guides the user to take the conversation forward. That being said, there are a few downsides that made it to the list, one of them being the inability to resume the skill from where the user had left off. While the other being the need to switch to a paid option to purchase additional decks.

Nevertheless, VOGO Voice team scores Heads Up! with a 4.5 out of 5-stars based on our review criteria. Yet, you’ll have to try for yourself to see how profoundly the skill engages and whether it checks all your boxes on keeping you entertained and on your toes wanting more.
