knight manager

Verdict

Knight Manager is a power-packed gaming voice skill developed by Krogoor Entertainment to engage their audience with a spiking dose of fun. This one-of-a-kind Alexa gameplay revolves around the concept of transforming a weak amateur knight into an exemplary hero. The voice skill is centered on sending the knight on daily adventures and scaling up his experience as the user progresses with every interaction in the gameplay. The player is entitled ‘Knight Manager’ to manage the knight’s daily escapades and eventually transition him into a glorious hero.

As part of the game, players are endowed with the privilege to upgrade weapons, armor, or serfs’ quarters by visiting blacksmiths. Additionally, there’s room to increase the knight’s fighting ability or forest hunting skills at the shop and hunting lodge respectively. Besides daily adventures, there are opportunities interwoven within the skill to have the knight participate in duels with other knights, indulge in thrilling quests, join jousting tournaments, etc and move levels up. The game becomes more gripping when the knight gets to face upfront and fight duels with evil knights in the Dark tower or Hunt orcs in the Dark Forest. One of the positives worth mentioning is the impressive use of character voices and audio clips. The inclusion of gamification features motivates the players to be responsible managers and let their kights take up daily adventures to rise on the leaderboard. As the knight improves on speed, defense, strength, health, and luck, he can gather more points. What’s more, players can gamble in a game of twenty-one and win gold and other collectibles which can be used to repair the knight’s armor or sword at the blacksmith. Nonetheless, players are to be careful not to exhaust their knights. In the event of knights losing their energy, the managers are to wait for an hour for them to recover and get back on the game. Bagging points and rewards are the way for players to stock up on inventory. As for the ‘Help’ section, it seems to be designed robustly with a comprehensive list of skill features. Besides, there’s the option to resume the game from where one left off. Well, that being said, there seem to be a few downsides that could let down the players at times. First and foremost, the repeat function does not work as intended. It takes the user further beyond the previous conversation. Last but not least, the lengthy narrative could mildly cause a dip in the user experience with its monotonous rendition.

The VOGO Voice team scores this skill 4.75 out of 5 stars based on our rating system. Yet, you’ll have to try it for yourself and see if it’s an impressive gaming voice app that will dole out some electrifying fun.
